The Babel Academy of English Academic Staff Training Programme has options for teachers and academic staff from around the world who want to build on their experience, develop and update skills, enhance career opportunities, and have a rewarding cultural exchange.
We accept individuals and groups. Apply through your educational institution to get Erasmus funding for your course.
Teaching and non-teaching Staff Erasmus+ Course Options
The following course options are available as part of our Erasmus Plus Training Programme. Choose the option(s) which suit you best depending on your role, requirements and interests. You can choose more than one option and enroll for multiple weeks.

What does each course involve?
Each week involves 6 sessions. Daily sessions target key content related to the course topic. We provide opportunities for participants to share and collaborate through group work. Practical activities focus on learning through experience. Presentations and feedback give participants the opportunity to reflect on their practice and develop new skills and strategies. We include a social and cultural programme which adds fun, cultural insights and gives further opportunities to practice English spontaneously.
Course Details
Course days are Monday to Saturday | minimum 5 hours per day
Maximum 15 participants per course
Our course tutors are qualified and experienced teachers
Methodology
Our methodological approach is learner-centred and utilises communication-based and task-orientated activities. We invite participants to share their skills with others, facilitating peer teaching, teamwork and group problem solving. Programme activities are related to real-world contexts. We encourage participants to apply their learning to their own academic contexts.

Minimum English language level A1 to C1 depending on course option

General English Intensive courses run year round.
